It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Design Contest WIN 4000 POINTS, 20$ AND MORE!I've wanted to hold a design contest for a long time now, and finally I've gathered enough points to do it

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red
-Long tails, big/long

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Rules, Joining, and Submitting

Hey members!

Everything is pretty much organized now. I've gone and cleaned up the blog entries and got rid of all the old stuff that's not really important anymore, as well as updated the gallery. The good news is, is that The Kurama Fandom and Miscellaneous journal is gone. From now on you may all submit your own stuff to the gallery! Anything you want!

The new folders are:
* Featured (Kurama)
* Miscellaneous
* Cosplay and Accessories
* Alternate Pairings
* Shounen-ai and Yaoi Pairings
* Kurama and Original Characters
* Crossovers
* Fanfiction

You can pretty well guess what goes in each gallery, but there's a description for each of them in the specific folder. So you can check that out if you're not sure =3

Also, I've updated the Rules, Joining, and Submitting. I tried my best to explain how all the new features are done, like joining and submitting, but I haven't really had the chance to try anything as a regular member yet. So please bear with me until I can get a more detailed description up ^^

In regards to favourites, everyone is welcome to suggest anything that's Kurama-related =3

As for members...well, those journals will be deleted soon. There's no sense in keeping them because technically you aren't a member of the club unless you re-join as a member. I wish I had time to go and personally invite everyone to become a member, but I don't and I'm sure our contributers don't either. Especially since some accounts are probably inactive now. So it's up to anyone who still watches this club to re-join and become a member so that they may have access to submitting and whatnot. The best I can do is update a journal reminder every now and then to remind any watchers who haven't joined that we are a group now. I'd really love to have you all members again; it's really not the same without everyone ;-;

Well, I guess that's it for now :3 So enjoy submitting your stuff ^^
